Asia's Lioner Names Ex-HSBC Figure For Group Strategic Advisor Role

Founded founded four years ago, Lioner has grown on a number of fronts, including creating a Beijing office and adding senior figures in Hong Kong and elsewhere.
Lioner International Group, the Asia-based insurance, trust and family office advisory consortium, has appointed former HSBC senior figure Henry Lam (pictured) as group strategic advisor.
Most recently, Lam was regional head of wealth planning and advisory, Asia-Pacific at HSBC Private Bank. He has also held leadership positions at Credit Suisse and UBS, where he specialised in wealth planning, family governance and trust advisory.
At Lioner, Henry will provide senior counsel on long-term growth, market expansion, service innovation and complex wealth structuring.

Lioner, which was founded in Hong Kong in 2021, opened a Beijing office in August 2023. In March 2025, it appointed former HSBC private banking figure Andy Leung as managing director in consultancy. In May, it appointed Francis Tang as managing director, Hong Kong.
